Writing a goal
The rule reader understands a small, exact grammar. Anything it does not understand is listed as left out, never guessed. Here is everything it reads.
What the reader understands
| You write | It becomes |
|---|---|
| send 0.01 ETH to 0x… | An ETH step: the planbook forwards exactly that amount. |
| pay 25 USDG to 0x… and 10 to 0x… | Two USDG steps; the second reuses the asset of the first. |
| send $12 to 0x… | Dollars are read as USDG. |
| wrap 0.05 ETH · unwrap 0.05 WETH | A step your wallet does directly on the WETH contract, then records. |
| check my balances | A read step: Sift reads ETH, WETH and USDG. |
| within 2 hours · by Friday | The plan's deadline (default 24 hours, never past 30 days). |
| no more than 0.05 ETH | The ETH cap (default: the total of the ETH steps). |
What is left out
Swaps, bridges, staking, standalone approvals, minting and recurring plans are not run by this build. When a goal asks for one, the guard lists it as skipped and the rest of the plan still works. Unclear sentences are quoted back to you as "not understood".
Practice mode and live mode
Practice (planbook address empty): opening a plan and running each step are plain messages your wallet signs. They prove you approved the plan, but they are not transactions and nothing moves. Plans and the activity log stay in this browser.
Live (planbook address set): opening a plan is one transaction; each step is another. ETH steps send value through the planbook, token steps first ask for an exact approval, wraps and reads are recorded after your wallet does them.
The optional AI reader
When the site operator sets a key, a second reader can parse looser goals. It may only answer with the same intent types (send, wrap, unwrap, check), and the browser rebuilds every step from those intents with the same rules and checks. Calls are rate-limited per network, capped per hour site-wide, and refused for any model priced above $1 in / $4 out per million tokens. Without a key the page says the AI reader is not configured and the rule reader does the work.
