What is covered, and what is not
The planbook narrows what a signed step can do. It does not make a bad plan good, and it cannot protect a wallet that signs something else.
Covered
- A step runs only if it is exactly what you reviewed, before the deadline, under the ETH cap, from your wallet.
- No step runs twice, and a closed plan runs nothing.
- No admin can change the rules, pause plans or take a fee.
- Token approvals asked by the workspace are for the exact step amount.
Not covered
- A wrong address you typed yourself. Ward warns about some mistakes, not all of them.
- Transactions your wallet signs outside the planbook, including the direct wrap and unwrap steps (those go straight to WETH).
- Price moves between planning and signing; the plan moves fixed amounts, not dollar values.
- Privacy: plans and steps are public on chain once opened. Only hashes of the plan document are stored, but amounts and recipients of executed steps are visible to anyone.
This site
- No accounts and no keys. Plans, practice signatures and the activity log stay in your browser's storage.
- Chain reads go through a read-only relay with a method allowlist and per-network budgets; it never forwards a signed transaction.
- The optional AI reader receives only the goal text, never an address book or a signature.
